Products Description
Tantalum-tungsten alloy screws is an alloy composed of the base metal tantalum and the alloying element tungsten. It is a tantalum alloy formed by adding a certain amount of tungsten element based on tantalum. Tantalum and tungsten constitute the Ta-W binary system alloy which is an infinite solid solution. As the tungsten content increases, the strength of the alloy increases, but when it exceeds 12%∽14% (atomic fraction), the plasticity of the recrystallized alloy will be significantly reduced. The tantalum-tungsten alloys produced industrially in the United States include Ta-2.5W, Ta- 7.5W, Ta-10W. These tantalum alloys maintain the low-temperature plasticity of pure tantalum and have high strength and oxidation resistance.

Everything You Need to Know
First, tantalum tungsten alloy screws have extremely high corrosion resistance.
Tungsten is a corrosion-resistant metal material that can resist corrosion in harsh environments such as oxidation, acid, alkali and high temperature. Therefore, using tungsten bolts ensures a longer service life of the bolt while reducing the amount of cleaning and maintenance required.
Secondly, tantalum tungsten alloy screws have excellent high temperature resistance.
The melting point of tungsten reaches 3422 degrees Celsius, making it a very high temperature resistant material. In contrast, the materials of ordinary bolts tend to deform or melt easily in high-temperature environments. Therefore, tungsten bolts are a more reliable choice in projects that need to withstand high-temperature environments.
In addition, tantalum tungsten alloy screws have excellent strength and hardness.
Steel is often used as the material for making regular bolts, while tungsten has greater hardness and strength. This means tungsten bolts are better able to resist tension and shear forces, providing a more reliable connection. In some scenarios that need to withstand greater pressure and important loads, tungsten bolts can provide higher safety and reliability.
Finally, tantalum tungsten alloy screws are widely used in some special industries.
Due to the special properties of tungsten bolts, they are widely used in aerospace, electronics, chemical industry and other fields. For example, in the aerospace industry, tungsten bolts are used to make engines and components to withstand the high temperature and pressure requirements of connections. In the electronics field, tungsten bolts are used in the manufacture of high-power equipment and semiconductor devices to provide stable connections and heat dissipation properties.
Products Application

Connect and fasten. Screws can tightly connect two or more workpieces together through the threaded connection of their screws and nuts, thereby tightening and preventing parts from loosening.
Machine made. In the fields of automobiles, aviation, shipbuilding and other fields, screws are used to connect and fix parts of mechanical equipment.
Construction applications. In the construction field, screws are used to fix and connect various building materials, such as steel bars, wooden components, stone, etc., to enhance the stability and durability of the building structure.
Furniture manufacturing. Screws are used in furniture manufacturing to fix and connect components of different materials, such as boards, solid wood, metal, etc., to ensure the firmness and stability of the furniture structure.
Electronic equipment. In electronic device manufacturing, screws are used to tightly assemble internal components and keep them in the correct position
Daily life. Screws are also widely used in our daily lives, such as furniture assembly, home appliance repair, bicycle repair, etc.

Packing And Shipping

1. Packaging materials: Use moisture-proof paper, plastic film, foam plastic and other packaging materials to prevent the product from getting damp or suffering minor collisions. In addition, wooden outer packaging boxes or wooden pallets can also be used as packaging auxiliary materials.
2. Outer packaging: The product can be placed in a wooden outer packaging box or wooden pallet of appropriate size to prevent it from being squeezed or bumped during transportation.
3. Labeling: Mark the product name, specifications, batch number, and manufacturer information on the package to facilitate identification and tracking.
4. Transportation method: Choose the appropriate transportation method, such as sea transportation, land transportation or air transportation, and ensure suitable handling equipment to avoid product damage during transportation.
FAQ
do you have any question?

What are tantalum tungsten alloy screws and what are they used for?
Tantalum tungsten alloy screws are screws made from a combination of tantalum and tungsten, two metals with high melting points and excellent corrosion resistance. This combination makes the screws extremely durable and suitable for use in harsh environments and conditions.
What are some notable benefits of using tantalum tungsten alloy screws?
The benefits of using tantalum tungsten alloy screws include their high resistance to corrosion, wear, and extreme temperatures. These screws also have a long lifespan and can withstand heavy loads without breaking or deforming. Additionally, since tantalum is a non-toxic and biocompatible metal, these screws are safe to use in medical and dental applications.
In what industries are tantalum tungsten alloy screws commonly used?
Tantalum tungsten alloy screws are commonly used in industries such as aerospace, automotive manufacturing, electronics, and medical/dental. They are used in applications where extreme durability and reliability are required, such as in aircraft engines, electronic equipment, and dental implants.
How do tantalum tungsten alloy screws compare to other types of screws?
Compared to other types of screws, tantalum tungsten alloy screws are much more durable and have a longer lifespan due to their high corrosion and wear resistance. They also have a higher melting point than many other metals, which makes them suitable for use in high-temperature applications. Additionally, these screws are less likely to deform or break under heavy loads.
