Nickel alloy hot-rolled plates are generally nickel alloy plate products with a thickness of 3mm-5mm or more. Nickel alloy plates inherit the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and fatigue resistance of nickel alloys. In terms of manufacturing technology, nickel alloy plates can be flattened and cut from nickel alloy coils, or directly hot-rolled from nickel alloy billets. Compared with nickel alloy plates, the surface of nickel alloy hot-rolled plates is whiter.

Products process
1. Raw material preparation: To prepare raw materials for nickel alloy, alloy elements such as nickel, chromium, iron, and molybdenum are usually required, and they are proportioned and mixed according to the required composition ratio of the alloy.
2. Alloy smelting: Put the mixed raw materials into a vacuum melting furnace or arc melting furnace for smelting to obtain a uniform alloy melt.
3. Casting: The alloy melt is poured into the casting mold and solidified by cooling to form a preliminary cast billet or slab.
4. Thermal processing: The preliminary cast billet is uniformly heated, and then rough rolling and finish rolling are carried out to gradually heat and plastically process the cast billet into the preliminary shape of the plate.
5. Intermediate annealing: Intermediate annealing is performed on the initially processed plate to improve its plasticity and processing properties and eliminate work hardening.
6. Hot rolling: The intermediate annealed plate is hot rolled. After a series of rolling processes, its thickness and width are gradually reduced to obtain a nickel alloy hot-rolled plate that meets the requirements.
7. Surface treatment: The hot-rolled plates are subjected to surface treatments such as pickling and polishing to obtain the required smoothness and surface quality.
8. Heat treatment: Perform solution treatment and aging treatment on hot-rolled plates to adjust their grain structure and improve their mechanical properties.
9. Finished product inspection: Comprehensive inspections such as chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, and surface quality testing are conducted on the finished panels to ensure that the products meet the requirements of relevant standards and specifications.

Generally, the intermetallic phases presented in nickel based superalloys can be divided into three main groups: i - primary and secondary carbides; ii - GCP (Geometrically Close-Packed); and iii - TCP (Topologically Close-Packed).
What is the composition of nickel based alloys?
The composition of these alloys is typically 30-35% Nickel, 19-23% Chromium and a minimum of 39.5% Iron.
What is the processing type of nickel?
Nickel concentrates may be leached with sulfuric acid or ammonia, or they may be dried and smelted in flash and bath processes, as is the case with copper.
How do you identify nickel alloys?
Stainless steel that contains nickel will sometimes be magnetic. An alloy made of nickel and chromium will, in most cases, not be magnetic. An alloy made of nickel and copper will also not be magnetic in most cases.
