Raw electrolytic titanium high-pressure torsion of ultrafine crystallization treatment: I) selected high-purity molten salt electrolytic titanium as raw material, at room temperature or below 0.4Tm temperature conditions, the disk specimen in the mold is applied a few GPa of pressure P, at the same time, the lower mold rotation through active friction in its cross-section to apply a torque, prompting the deformation body to produce axial compression and tangential shear deformation.

Hydrogenation of ultrafine crystalline titanium: after high-pressure twisting of the raw titanium material, placed in a vacuum furnace, the vacuum furnace is evacuated and then passed into the argon gas, argon as a protective gas to the furnace gas wash three times in order to exclude residual oxygen. The furnace body is heated, and the raw material is preheated and activated. Heating and holding at various temperatures to achieve the purpose of activation of raw materials. The holding temperature is divided into three zones: low, medium and high. After the feedstock is fully activated, the temperature is finally lowered to the hydrogenation temperature, hydrogen is introduced into the furnace, and the atmosphere conditions are maintained at a slightly positive pressure. When the feedstock absorbs hydrogen and the furnace pressure is lowered to below atmospheric pressure, hydrogen is replenished again. When the passage of hydrogen for a period of time, the furnace pressure no longer drop significantly, the raw material titanium hydrogen absorption is basically complete;

Hydrogenated titanium cooled and removed for ball milling refinement. The use of planetary ball mill will be placed in the titanium hydrogenated argon protective atmosphere ball mill to the required particle size, remove the hydrogenated titanium powder and then placed in the vacuum furnace dehydrogenation. After dehydrogenation for a certain period of time, the titanium obtained is finally further milled and crushed, i.e., the product is obtained as ultrafine high-purity titanium powder.
