Products applications
Nickel titanium memory alloy wire is a binary alloy composed of nickel and titanium. There are two distinct crystal structure phases, namely the austenite phase and the martensite phase, which are caused by variations in temperature and mechanical pressure. The parent phase (austenite phase), the R phase, and the martensite phase are the phases that change in nickel titanium alloy as it cools. The R-phase is rhombic, while the austenite is in a state of cube and hard when the temperature is higher (greater than the same: the temperature at which the austenite begins) or when the load is removed (external force is removed from activation). The shape is relatively stable. The martensitic phase is a state of relatively low temperature (less than Mf: the temperature at which the martensite ends) or loading (activated by external forces), hexagonal, ductile, repetitive, unstable, and prone to deformation.
One of the outstanding features of Nitinol is its exceptional corrosion resistance. This alloy is highly resistant to chemicals and solvents, making it ideal for use in harsh environments and difficult conditions. This excellent resistance to corrosion ensures that the material can operate in harsh and abrasive conditions for a very long time without suffering any damage.
Another significant advantage of Nitinol is its high biocompatibility, which makes it an ideal material for use in medical implants and other biological applications. This material does not react with tissues, and it is non-toxic, making it an excellent material for use in the human body.
Moreover, Nitinol also exhibits remarkable shape memory properties. This means that it can be deformed to a specified shape and then returned to its original shape when an external stimulus is applied, such as heat or pressure. Due to this shape memory capability, Nitinol is an excellent material for use in a wide variety of applications where precise motion control is required.
Another vital advantage of Nitinol is its excellent energy absorption capability, which makes it a premier material for use in shock absorption applications. This material has excellent damping properties, which makes it ideal for use in impact-resistant applications, such as in automotive or aerospace industries.

Products applications

The nickel titanium wire tension spring has high elasticity and extremely low permanent deformation rate. Compared with stainless steel wire of the same diameter, its released corrective force differs by 3.5 to 4 times. Therefore, in the application of orthodontic treatment, patients not only have mild pain, soft and long-lasting sensation of strength, but also have reduced follow-up time, shortened treatment course, and improved efficacy. It is a new and excellent mechanical device in orthodontic treatment.

Due to the super elasticity and shape memory properties of nickel titanium alloy arch wires, as well as their lower stress-strain curves, nickel titanium alloy arch wires are currently commonly used as the initial arch wires included in the orthodontic system in clinical practice for early alignment and leveling of patient dentition. This greatly reduces patient discomfort.

The super elastic properties of nickel titanium alloy make it an ideal material for manufacturing high-end eyewear frames. It quickly restores the eyeglass frame to its original state when bent, twisted, or even dropped.

Nickel titanium alloy material is often used in modern dental braces because it canadjust the shape to better fit the teeth and reduce discomfort.

Nickel titanium alloys are widely used in the medical field, such as manufacturing artificial heart valves

Due to its high density ratio, strength, and good corrosion resistance, it is widely used in the aviation manufacturing industry. At the same time, it also has high fatigue resistance and a small coefficient of thermal expansion, which can be used for a long time under high temperature and pressure.

It can be used to manufacture high-performance engine starters, throttle valves, transmissions, and suspension systems. Due to its high strength, high heat resistance, high corrosion resistance, and good elastic modulus, nickel titanium alloy produced automotive parts are more lightweight and sturdy, while also improving the fuel economy of automobiles
Products advantages
Research has shown that the corrosion resistance of nickel titanium memory alloy wire is similar to that of stainless steel wire
Nickel is known to have carcinogenic and pro cancer effects. In general, the surface layer of titanium oxidation acts As a barrier, making Ni Ti alloys have good biocompatibility. The surface layer of TiXOy and TixNiOy can inhibit the release of Ni.

The unloading curve platform of nickel titanium alloy is the lowest and smoothest, indicating that it can provide the most long-lasting and gentle corrective force.

The good vibration and shock absorption characteristics of arch wire are important for tooth health, while traditional arch wires such as stainless steel wire have a tendency to aggravate root resorption.
