Gr 4 Titanium Disk

Gr 4 titanium disk is more suitable for forging due to its expensive materials. It can not only improve the internal quality of components but also save metal materials. Each step of forging affects the internal quality or appearance quality of the forging more or less. Therefore, each process must be completed in strict accordance with the forging process. Fixed-size Grade 4 titanium disk can be cut by a sawing machine, lathe, anode cutting machine, punching shear, grinding wheel cutting machine, or on a forging hammer or hydraulic press.

Gr 4 titanium disk has the highest strength in pure titanium grades. It is used in the working environment of 0-427 °C and can be welded when the intermittent temperature reaches 538 °C. The production process involves releasing the pressure at 482-593 °C for 30 minutes to 4 hours, air cooling. Annealing at 649-816 °C for 15 minutes to 2 hours, air-cooled. Forging: closed heating 871-927 °C, 816-871 °C.
