 Platinum Plated Titanium Felt is a high-performance electrochemical electrode made by coating a uniform platinum layer on a titanium felt substrate through advanced electroplating and thermal treatment processes.

Combining the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium with the outstanding catalytic activity and conductivity of platinum, this electrode provides high electrochemical efficiency, stable performance, and long service life in demanding electrochemical environments.

It is widely used in hydrogen production, water electrolysis, fuel cells, electrochemical oxidation, wastewater treatment, ozone generation, laboratory electrochemical systems, and other advanced electrochemical applications.

Q: Can you customize Pt loading, thickness and dimensions?

A: Yes. Standard Pt loading is 60–80 μg/cm²; thickness, porosity, shape and loading are all customizable. Die-cutting to your drawings is supported.

Q: How do you verify the platinum coating?

A: Each batch is tested by XRF for Pt loading, with a test report / CoA provided.

Q: Which side of the electrolyzer should the felt be used on?

A:Mainly the oxygen (anode) side as PTL/diffuser. Carbon-based GDLs may be used on the hydrogen (cathode) side.

Q: Which side of the electrolyzer should the felt be used on?

A:Yes - Pt/Ti components are proven in pressurized electrolyzer anodes at operating pressures up to 450 psi (~31 bar).
