Application
A photomultiplier tube (PMT) is a sensitive electronic device consisting of a photocathode, a series of dynodes, and an anode. We use the Platinized molybdenum wire for two specific roles in our photomultiplier tubes.
The first is to attach metalloid spheres.
The second is to act as a platinum evaporation source.
This application has very high requirements on the coating adhesion, coating purity and uniformity of platinum-coated molybdenum wire.
