Features oxidation resistance,corrosion resistance (high stability in strong acid H₂ SO₄ or HNO₃ ),high oxygen overpotential,good electrical conductivity,strong bonding force,strong oxidation ability when electrocued in aqueous solution,ability to undergo high currents.

High current efficiency,at low current density,the energy consumption is comparable to that of the iridium tantalum anode.When the current density is greater than 500A/ ㎡ ,the energy consumption is about 0.2V higher than the voltage of the iridium tantalum tank.
