Sodium hypochlorite electrolysis is a water treatment technology that produces hypochlorous acid (HClO) by electrolyzing sodium hypochlorite (NaClO). Direct current is passed into seawater or salt water, and the electrolytic cell generates chlorine (Cl2) on the anode surface and caustic soda (NaOH) on the cathode surface. Chlorine gas and caustic soda react to form sodium hypochlorite (NaClO).

 

During the electrolysis of sodium hypochlorite, the NaClO solution in the electrolytic cell is decomposed by current to produce hypochlorous acid and chlorine gas. Hypochlorous acid can kill bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms, thereby effectively eliminating pollutants and harmful substances in water.

3. Titanium electrode significantly lowers salt and power consumption with the use of unique electrode structure technology. Regular electrodes function significantly better. The chlorine evolution potential is ~1.132V HIL, the salt consumption is ~3.5Kg/Kg.CL and 4.OKW/Kg.CL, the power consumption is low, and the performance ratio is tiny.

 

4. To provide an exceptionally long service life (five years of warranty), the anode is coated with a fine nano-coating of ruthenium and iridium oxide, with a thickness of twenty to twenty-five layers.
